Reset in Motion – Breath & Movement for Real-Life Regulation
Sun Date: Jun 15 2025
From: 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Reset in Motion is a 90–120 minute immersive workshop designed to help clients understand the powerful connection between breath, movement, and the nervous system. Co-led by breathing specialist Dean O’Rourke and movement educator Meg Linton, this session provides practical tools to regulate stress, improve energy, and feel more grounded—both in body and mind.
The workshop is ideal for clients who:
Experience stress, anxiety, or overwhelm
Are curious about breath training but don’t vibe with intense “breathwork” sessions
Want to deepen their Pilates or fitness practice
Are athletes or active individuals looking to improve performance and recovery
Notice signs of dysfunctional breathing (mouth breathing, jaw tension, shallow breath, poor sleep, low energy, frequent sighing)
Dean will guide participants through functional breath education and practice—drawing from clinical breathing science, Buteyko principles, and nervous system regulation strategies. His style is gentle, evidence-based, and completely accessible.
Meg will integrate movement to support the breath: focusing on joint mobility, spinal flows, grounding through the feet, and breath-led movement sequences that down-regulate the nervous system. With her polyvagal-informed approach, clients will feel safe, supported, and reconnected to their bodies.
Key Outcomes:
Understand what dysfunctional breathing looks like—and how to shift it
Learn practical, easy-to-remember breath resets for daily use
Explore how movement and breath can work together to regulate the nervous system
Build long-term awareness of how posture, stress, and modern habits affect how we breathe and move
Leave with tangible tools to feel clearer, calmer, and more connected
This is not just a class—it’s a guided nervous system reset grounded in science, movement, and mindfulness.
